The universal skimmer set must be mounted on the wall of the swimming pool and connected to your filter installation. The filter pump will now purify the water through the skimmer, it catches leaves, insects or other large dirt particles in the skimmer basket before the small dirt particles are filtered through the filter of the pump. The skimmer set is for mounting in the wall of the pool and has a small mouth. Not suitable for above ground pools such as Intex and Bestway.
